Ariticle 1 (Legislative)

Legislative Branch
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0910/41731.html

Rep. Diana DeGette had written a bill and is trying to get it passed to make it a law. The bill went trough congress, the senate and the house of rep. President Bush vetoed the bill and it failed in the house of rep. Rep. DIana DeGette is now trying to get her bipartisan allies to make sure the bill does not cause arguments with the opposed opinions.
The Legislative branch makes laws and are the ones that try to make sure the bills become laws. This women is trying to come up with a good idea for a law and the congress and the representatives are voting on it and trying to pass it through. The bill was passed by the senate 63 to 34. With this being said the bill has become a law. This is the legislatives branch job to make laws. The constitution is involved in this real-world now because we have laws that the legislative branch has made and we abide by them. They arent just rules that people may respect or not. But they are laws that everyone must follow or you WILL be punished.
If there was no congress or senate or House or rep. then who would make the laws for the citizens of the U.S to follow. violence and corruption would be a major problem and everyone would do what they wanted. Theft would occur all the time because they wouldn't have anything telling them its not okay. This way people have made the laws that makes it safe and respectable for every citizen.
