Search && Seizure
This picture shows how some police don't respect the rights that people have towards their homes. The police aren't supposed to bang down doors unless they have a warrant to search the house. They are supposed to knock and when someone answers you tell that your the police.
In Amendment 4 - Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791. It states : The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
In this cartoon the Supreme Court says that it is okay to knock down doors and not do the right thing which is knock and announce. The constitution is in action because it displays how the cops are banging the door down to search the house but its going against the fourth amendment.
I think this is a disrespect to personal space because what if someone just busted into your house you would be highly upset ! if your were sleep and someone banged your door down you would curse them out or something.
